Garden Days Out may have had some problems sending enquiries to us. This problem is now fixed and but just in case , here’s a recap.
To remind you: Our April 25 tour is to Througham Court near Stroud, to see Dr Christine Facer’s extravagant meadow planting of thousands of camassias at their bluest best, her borders packed with colourful and unusual tulips, and to hear her scientific take on the garden – which may leave you equally amazed. Our next stop ( with lunch) is Owlpen Manor where the story is all of romance – and history and neglect and revival. And what’s not to like about a garden with seven hanging terraces, oh yes and not a few ghosts, we are told. Last stop with Nick Macer, at Pan Global Plants, truly a man with a mission – who sources his special plants from all over the world – many of them personally. Retail therapy could be on the cards.
